Founded in 1995, Tony Bartholomew Photography Ltd is based on the North Yorkshire coast and offers PR, editorial and corporate coverage across the North of England.

“A photo-a-day project is something I have always wanted to do, and the opportunity to be part of Coastival has given me the added impetus to do it,” says Tony.

“The pictures will be observed images of Scarborough and the surrounding area in the coming year, each with a simple, descriptive caption. It will be a challenge, but enormous fun. Usually I am working to a specific client  brief so it will be nice to be able to take and publish pictures purely for the pleasure and the strength of the image involved.”

Tony Bartholomew is a member of the NUJ and the  British Press Photographers’ Association; and his pictures can be seen in the BPPA books Five Thousand Days and Assignments 2.
