Monad is an atmospheric cinematic installation in the South Bay underground car park asking are we voyeur, or being watched? The Peasholm Magic Lantern sees the recently re-built oriental island pagoda transformed with projected images, poetry, typography and music - drawing inspiration from the park.

Festival of Light - Parade
Lantern Parade 
The sparkling Lantern Parade will set off from Scarborough’s iconic Rotunda Museum and wind its way down to the world famous Spa Complex, accompanied by Scarborough good time band Hamp’s Tramps, DJ Patrick Billington, a drumming display and some surprises on the evening!

Coastival Commission A film of local young people working with professional dancers, musicians and film makers to choreograph a contemporary dance performance on the theme of light. Various venues on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Coastival. Free event.
