As part of Coastival 2011 Kate will be creating work inspired by 20th Century writer Edith Sitwell who lived in the Sitwell family’s Scarborough holiday home, the stately Wood End. The building is now home to a new generation of writers, artists and designers as a creative industries centre and will be one of Coastival 2011’s venues.
